Secular DNA

We're looking for intelligent, creative, and fun people to join our reality-based community. We are building a fun-loving, supportive social group united by common values of tolerance, reason, empiricism, freedom of speech, and open discourse.

But mainly this group is about having a good time and making new friends.  Our past events have included hikes, picnics, bonfires, book discussions, movie nights, game nights, lectures, and jam sessions, and we’re always open to new suggestions.

We believe enlightenment values like reason, tolerance, pluralism and colorblindness are key to a peaceful, flourishing society.  As such we value intellectual humility and encourage diversity of thought.  We want to create a place where people who question dogma, be it religious or ideological, can form connections with likeminded people, and express their views without fear of ostracism.  We believe that respectful discourse and fact-based inquiry are better methods of engaging with the world than stereotyping and tribalism.

We’re not a monolithic group.  We welcome anyone who believes in reason, science, and empiricism.  We believe in diversity of thought and members have a variety of views.  Our members include atheists, agnostics, pantheists, heterodox thinkers, and more.  If you are someone who enjoys free thought, intelligent company, and good times, come join us!
