Atheist Friending – DC

Atheist Friending – DC is a social group for atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, and other nonreligious people in the Washington, DC area who want to make friends and build community. Our focus is simple: friendship first. We organize relaxed social gatherings where people can meet, talk, and get to know each other in a welcoming environment. Events may include casual meetups, lunches, coffee gatherings, happy hours, and discussions about science, philosophy, ethics, and secular life.

This group is for people who:
• Identify as atheist, agnostic, humanist, freethinker, or nonreligious
• Enjoy thoughtful conversation and open inquiry
• Want to connect with others who value reason, science, and secular ethics
• Are looking to expand their secular social circle in the DC area

Our goal is to create a friendly, inclusive, and supportive secular community where people can form real friendships.
