Trail Magic

Details

CVA will be reviving its tradition of providing trail magic on the Appalachian Trail in Connecticut this year. Unlike previous magics, though, we will not be bringing it up a mountain, but will be providing it at a road crossing, specifically where the AT starts (or ends, depending on which way you're going) the road walk on Rte. 7 in Salisbury. This is just south of where Rte. 7 crosses the Housatonic River.
Food which is too bulky, messy, or easily spoiled to pack is always appreciated. Fresh fruit and veggies are popular. Also supplies which wear out, such as zip-loc bags.
Chairs, tables, and canopies are also useful, especially since we ourselves will be sitting around for hours.
Drinks are appreciated, but don't bring anything alcoholic. We are not in a position to check for legal drinking ages, and we would rather not have to deal with the consequences if it's discovered that we're giving away alcohol to minors.
We will probably set up around nine a.m. mid-morning and stay until mid-afternoon. There's no set time limit, though.
Hope to see you there!
