Interactive Live Theatre Performances in English and Greek from DarkPlay Theatre have been selling out since 2024.
Performances at the famous Epi Kolonno Theatre (as part of the Off Off Athens Festival), at Teatro Xoros2510 in Exarchia, at PLYFA and in Koukaki.

WHO WE ARE:

• Darkplay Theatre is a Social Cooperative Enterprise (KOINSEP) and artistic organization with a mission to bring Greek culture to new and non-traditional audiences through innovative performing arts, theatre, representing and recruiting emerging artsts and contributors from all communities.
• Το Darkplay Theatre είναι μια νόμιμα συσταθείσα Κοινωνική Συνεταιριστική Επιχείρηση (ΚΟΙΝΣΕΠ) και καλλιτεχνικός οργανισμός με αποστολή να μεταφέρει τον ελληνικό πολιτισμό με σεβασμό, δημιουργικότητα και φαντασία σε νέα και μη παραδοσιακά ακροατήρια μέσω καινοτόμων παραστατικών τεχνών, θεάτρου και πολυμέσων, ενθαρρύνοντας, εκπροσωπώντας και προσλαμβάνοντας καλλιτέχνες και συντελεστές από όλες τις κοινότητες.

HOW WE WORK:

• Following a strict non-profit model, all funds raised from ticket sales, donations, funding and other revenue streams are committed 100% to current and future production costs (and associated admin/overheads). No funders/investors receive payments of any kind, and the voluntary management board receive no salaries for their board roles.
• Ακολουθώντας ένα αυστηρά μη κερδοσκοπικό μοντέλο, όλα τα έσοδα από πωλήσεις εισιτηρίων, δωρεές, χρηματοδοτήσεις και άλλες πηγές εισοδήματος διατίθενται κατά 100% για την κάλυψη των τρεχουσών και μελλοντικών παραγωγικών εξόδων (καθώς και των σχετικών διοικητικών/γενικών εξόδων). • I Am The Labyrinth is interactive theatre.• The performance begins the moment you enter the theatre space.
• You will be part of the performance.
• The actors may interact with you, speak to you, guide you, and involve you.
• There will be darkness, loud music, bright lights, projections.
• You may be standing, walking or moving as well as seated.
• Audiences may be asked to wear Theatrical Masks (Note: masks are sanitised and cleaned after every performance).
• The performance touches on adult themes from Ancient Greek myths, including sex, death, violence and the influence of the Gods.
• Use of mobile phones, photography, video recording or sound recording are not permitted at any time during the performance.
