Description:
In this presentation we will cover the design mindset behind Mattermost Cloud which follows our motto “build once and for all”. We will go through how we built a Platform as a Product to serve internal and external customers with high SLOs expectations. We will discuss how our motto applies in Mattermost IDP and how we use ChatOps and Github bots to boost the Developer Productivity and in parallel serve multiple non-engineering functions/teams in Mattermost.

Presenters:

• Spiros Economakis is a Senior Engineering Lead of the Infrastructure group at Mattermost and he works remotely the last 10 years in the global startup ecosystem from Sparta. Also, he is the technical author of the book "Argo CD in Practice".
• Stylianos Rigas is a lead Site Reliability Engineer, with 8 years of experience in large scale projects in companies such as Mattermost, BP, Financial Times, Thomson Reuters and more. He studied in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Cambridge University, and after having lived in London for 7 years he has recently moved back to his hometown while continuing to work remotely for Mattermost.
