Volunteer Day- Bed Building with SHP

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization that builds and delivers beds free of charge to kids in need. Seems crazy that there are kids out there without this basic need, but sadly it’s true.

You can help be part of the mission of “No Kid Sleeps On the Floor”. Whether you are skilled with power tools or have never used one before, you can still help. They have a very well organized system and team of core volunteers to help you in each station of the building process.

We will meet at 8:45 to introduce ourselves and sign waivers. If possible, I will try to post a link to the online waiver before the build day.

Build officially starts at 9:00 and goes until all the beds are made (usually around 2:30?) You can leave when you need to or even come late if necessary. Usually a pizza lunch is served for volunteers around 12:00

Children middle school age and up are welcome but are the responsibility of the attending guardian.
