At-Home Songwriting Workshops

At-Home Songwriting is a welcoming space for beginners, hobbyists, and indie songwriters who want to reconnect with the joy of making music. Each month, we meet online for free live workshops that explore real-world songwriting tools, creative techniques, and lessons from classic and modern hits. You will learn how to write with confidence, strengthen your craft, and rediscover your voice.

These sessions center on the idea of Soul First Songwriting, using practical tools to express what is in your heart and say what only you can say. Whether you are starting fresh, coming back after a creative break, or looking to sharpen your skills, this group is a place to learn, recharge, and feel inspired to write again.

We will meet monthly via Zoom where we can interact and learn with each other. Workshops will be posted in the Free Online Community at AtHomeSongwritingCourses.com and some workshops will also be shared on the At-Home Songwriting YouTube Channel.

I’m Chad Shank, a songwriter, recording artist, and songwriting teacher with Berklee College of Music Online. I’ve written and released dozens of original songs and have helped hundreds of writers find their creative voice through my At-Home Songwriting courses and YouTube channel. My passion is helping people write songs that feel honest, meaningful, and alive. Through these free monthly workshops, I hope to help you find your own rhythm, reconnect with your creativity, and bring more music into the world.

Workshops will require you to have a Zoom account and Pre-register for meetings through Zoom. Those not registered and logged into Zoom may not be able to attend the live workshops.
