We are a group of animal rights advocates based out of Atlanta, Ga. We conduct a variety of animal rights events in the Atlanta area ranging from vegan outreach, animal vigils, disruptions, chalktivism, protests and more. We invite everyone to do advocacy with us but our group is guided by a vegan philosophy and we do all we can to denounce all forms of discrimination and exploitation towards animals. Hey Atlanta Animal Activists! šš¾
Our team at APEX is hosting a free 4-day conference this summer called Pre-Animal Activist Week (P.A.A.W.), and we need your help finding amazing folks to attend!
P.A.A.W. is designed for BIPOC folks (18+) who arenāt vegan but are open to learning about how plant-based living intersects with issues like climate justice, racial equity, and workersā rights. Think of it as the ideal event for that friend youāve had that one long convo with about animal rightsā¦ or that cousin who loves animals but swears they ācould never give up cheeseā š§š
Itās especially for college students, teachers, nonprofit workers, and community organizersābut anyone 18+ is welcome to apply. Only 20 spots are available, and participants stay on-site the entire time.
