Atlanta Astronomy Club monthly meeting, September 13th

Our understanding of how galaxies interact has changed - they might thrive, or not, in their environment.

Modern astronomical instrumentation has revealed a history of gas migrations, gravitational pulls and star formation changes that can lead to enhancements in galaxies...or sometimes extinguish their activity.
