Our understanding of how galaxies interact has changed - they might thrive, or not, in their environment.

Modern astronomical instrumentation has revealed a history of gas migrations, gravitational pulls and star formation changes that can lead to enhancements in galaxies...or sometimes extinguish their activity.

Our guest speaker is Donovan Domingue, PhD - the Interim Department Chair and Professor of Physics and Astronomy at GCSU's Department of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy.
