Atlanta AWS User Group, are you ready for this?

Come join Atlanta AWS User Group x Tech Women of Atlanta for an exciting evening of learning, building, and connecting.

From Prototype to Production with Kiro & Kiro CLI

The way we build software is changing faster than ever. With tools like Kiro and Kiro CLI, developers can move from an idea to a production-ready application in a fraction of the time while still maintaining the structure, quality, and engineering practices required for real-world systems.
In this workshop, we’ll start with a rapid tour of real projects built using Kiro, including:

  • re:Money – an open-source AI-powered financial assistant
  • re:Button – an AI-native hardware prototype that combines IoT, home automation, displayless minimal interfaces, and autonomous agents
  • Wingfoil Agent – an autonomous agent that helps decide when to go wing foiling using weather, tides, wind, and equipment data
  • Roblox + Amazon Bedrock – integrating generative AI experiences into Roblox through Amazon Bedrock

Using these projects as examples, we’ll explore how Kiro helps developers evolve from quick prototypes to production-ready solutions through specification-driven development, AI-assisted coding, automation, testing, and deployment workflows.

After the demos, participants will get hands-on experience with Kiro and Kiro CLI, building and evolving their own applications while learning practical techniques to collaborate effectively with AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
