# Auditing your SQL Server for Security, Access, PCI and SOX with Eric Petersen
Auditing has become the standard of determining if a company has security technologies in place to be able to process credit cards, obey data protection laws and review who accessed what data. In order to do this, you need to have several processes in place before you are asked to provide a review of your SQL Server system.
This presentation will cover
- Quick ways to identify who has access to what data in your SQL Server system.
- Things that PCI and SOX auditors look for when it comes to your SQL Server system
- How to setup and keep audit data of when/how a user accesses confidential data.
- Identifying what to do when a user requests that their data be removed from your system under data privacy laws
All of the examples will be available on GitHub for downloading after the presentation.
