This Chinese Buddhist Sunday service is open to all:
Dharma Jewel Monastery (http://www.dharmajewel.us) will hold a Buddhist Ceremony on Sunday July 20, 9:15 am to 12:30 pm. This ceremony reminds us to purify our mind and thus deepen our compassion and wisdom within. We sincerely invite everyone to attend this event - chanting of the liturgy, the Diamond of Prajna Paramita Sutra, is in Mandarin Chinese, with English transliteration and translation. A Grand Meal Offering before the Buddhas / Blessing & Memorial Service (chanting) and free vegetarian lunch follows. Bilingual instructions, all are welcome! New? Don't worry about following along the recitation, just come relax and enjoy the healing spiritual experience!

9:30am: Ceremony begins; Lamp Offering
9:50am: Chanting "The Universal Gateway of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" (Guanyin Pusa - Chapter 25 of the Lotus Sutra)
10:50am: Dharma Talk (Bilingual English/Chinese)
11:30am: Grand Meal Offering before the Buddhas / Blessing & Memorial Service
