Volunteer to build bikes for persons in need and refugee families at SOPO Co-op

Take a bit of time out of your hectic work week and volunteer to build bicycles for persons in need and refugee families. No bike build experience needed, we need all kinds of help.

SOPO Bicycle Cooperative is a non-profit, do-it-yourself bicycle repair shop that runs on volunteer power and your generous donations.

Since 2004, SOPO Co-op has been a pillar of the volunteering community in Atlanta. We do not offer paid repair services, but we provide the shop space, tools, parts and guidance to empower you to repair your own bicycle. SOPO also sells used bicycles, parts, locks, helmets, tires, tubes, tools and accessories.

Our community outreach programs use your donations (money, time & usable bicycles) to provide low-cost bicycles to persons who rely on them as their only mode of transportation.
