Paul Broman - Software and Scientology

Details
For our meeting on September 14th, Atlanta Freethought Society is delighted to once again present our board member Paul Broman, who will update us on his fascinating 2013 presentation on his observations about co-workers who were members of the Church of Scientology. The talk will be both over Zoom and at the Hall.
The title of the talk is “Software and Scientology,” and it is about his personal experience as the only non-Scientologist working for a small software company in Clearwater, Florida back in 2003. He also has some updates since the last time he gave this presentation; it seems that the founder of the company he worked for left Scientology in 2017 after the church tried to get his wife to compel him to turn over his Microsoft 401(k) to the Scientology church.
All are welcome.
There will also be a potluck lunch starting at 11. Suggested food items are according to the first letter of your last name: A-G Bring a dessert, H-P Bring a side dish, Q-Z Bring a main dish. AFS will provide drinks, plates, and silverware
