Brainstorm Friday: (Topic) How to improve the American Educational System

Welcome to the Generalist Academy, where we believe learning is a lifelong journey. This brainstorm session is a chance to discuss ideas for new ways of living or thinking. Take this opportunity to find people you may want to build a project with or to simply challenge your own biases.
The starting topic will be "How to improve American education?" and how the world looks under this model.
To keep things civil, we will avoid anything political. This is a place to truly find solutions, not to prove anyone wrong or right.
However, you are free to discuss any other topic you would like. We encourage you to bring your own topics as well. The education topic is simply a conversational starter.

Afterwards, we will either go next door to Smiley's Burger Club for some food and drinks if anyone is hungry or take a walk to Twains Brewpub for some drinks and pool. It will really depend on how the group is feeling.
