Please join us to meditate for world peace in beautiful Grant Park. Peace begins within - through non-violence, loving-kindness, and mindfulness. The calm and compassion we cultivate in our hearts ripple outward to our families, communities, and the wider world.

We are honored to have Walk for Peace monk Phra Ajarn Maha Dam Phommasan, abbot of Wat Lao Buddha Khanti in Snellville, and other monastics join us.

Everyone is welcome, including children and families. Bring a mat, stay as long as you'd like, and even have a picnic afterwards.

Tentative schedule:
9:30am: Karaniya Metta Sutta (in Pali)and meditation
10am: Walking medtation
10:30am: Q&A with Buddhist monastics (monks and nuns)
11:30am: Lunch offerings for monastics
