New to Atlanta? Do you work in healthcare? Wanna make new friends and network? Well, this group is for you! We’ll do a variety of activities… and suggestions are always welcome!

Housekeeping:

-Must attend 1 MeetUp within the first 90 days of joining.

-Your profile photo must be a current photo of you - and only you - showing your face so we can identify you at events. Submissions with no pictures, pictures of an animal, an object, background scenery, darkened sunglasses, obscuring filters, or photo where your face isn't completely or clearly visible will not be approved. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

-Each person must individually RSVP for an event (i.e., no “guests”). This is so that it is transparent to everyone who will be at the event.

-Must cancel an RSVP 24 hours in advance (or otherwise follow specific Meetup event instructions) or you will be removed from the group.

-If you no show for an event you will be removed from the group.

-You must ensure your RSVP is updated at all times. This includes changing your RSVP from the waitlist to “Not Going” if your plans have changed or if you would otherwise not be able to attend the event if you got moved into the “Going” list. If you get moved to the “Going” list and do not show up or cancel less than 24 hours before the event, you will be removed from the group.

-You are responsible for reviewing the entire description for each Meetup event you RSVP to AND following the instructions provided. By RSVPing to the event, you agree to meet all requirements of the event. If you do not, you may be removed from the event or from the group.

-A deposit will be required for any restaurant or other business that requires a credit card hold and charges a per person no show fee (due to last-minute cancellations). This deposit will be refundable if you show up to the event as planned and non-refundable if you do not cancel before 24 hours prior to the event (or whichever timeframe I’d provided in the event description, whichever is earlier). People on the waitlist who who get moved to the “Going” list, including last-minute, will be require to pay the deposit within the timeframe listed in the event description if it is more than 24 hours before the event or immediately if it is 24 hours or less from the event time.

Note: If I notice that you are signed up to our event and multiple events at the same time, you may be removed. This limits others from making plans to join our event - and these folks either late cancel or no show.

I reserve the right to remove any member at my discretion (due to making others feel uncomfortable: BIG no no's - discussing or pushing politics, harassment, arguing or bullying of any kind, showing unwanted attention or making advances, or just being an overall jerk to our members or wait staff).
Our group is about acceptance. It is meant to be a light & fun getaway from a climate of hate & division.
