-We do not charge to hike. If you ever have to pay anything, it’ll be directly to whichever park has fees.

Join us for a hike at High Falls State Park near Jackson, GA about 1 hr south of Atlanta.
Explore this 3.8-mile loop trail by the Towaliga River is generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 28 min to complete.
This is a popular trail so will likely be busy during our visit. Dogs are welcome, but due to the rocky terrain, we recommend leaving them home.
.This fantastic forested trail in High Falls State Park features lovely switchbacks and superb views of the falls. The trail is mostly shaded, with some rocky and root-filled sections. The trail has plenty of varied terrain and is steep in sections, making for a wonderful workout. It is also well-marked with informative signs about the wildlife and plants along the way

For our hike, we will be starting at the Parking lot near the trailhead which is a moderate 3.8 miles long with 370 ft of elevation. It will take 2 hours to complete.
· This is a 3.8 -mile hike. So go at your own pace. You know your body and experience level. Trail is rocky in places wear steady hiking shoes.
· Dogs are allowed but due to the rocky terrain we recommend leaving them home
· Bring Water, Snacks, Sun Screen
· This is a popular hiking spot so we need to limit RSVPs to 20 guests.
• There is a $5 fee or a GA Parks passIf your plans change and you are unable to attend the hike, please update your RSVP.
After the hike we may stop at the IHOP an exit North on I-75
