Hey Everyone! It's time for a 6 mile hike at Sweetwater Creek. Who's in?
This is a joint event with the Wilderness Network of Georgia.
WNG is a non-competitive volunteer driven gay men’s outdoor recreational group.

Meet at the Sweetwater Creek visitor center 1750 Mount Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122.
From Mount Vernon turn left onto Factory Shoals Rd, pay to park then proceed to visitors center.
Parking is $5 unless you have a GA State Parks annual pass.
From the visitor's center:
We'll hike a combination of the Yellow, Orange and Blue trails at Sweetwater Creek State Park. The trail winds through beautiful forests and passes Sweetwater Creek. There is varied terrain throughout the journey, with some ups and downs.

•Don’t forget water and snacks if needed!
•The trail is 6 miles but there will be an option to drop off from the head back for just 3 mile. We’ll all encourage you to finish the whole way, but you know your body best. Listen to it. This is a moderate hike with just over 800ft of elevation.
•This is a dog friendly hike but they must be on leash.
