Hi, let's walk around the hotels used in DragonCon! (a huge comicon - sci-fi-fantasy science convention)

This is a dry run, a practice, the weekend BEFORE DragonCon.
The real DragonCon is Sep 3-7.

And optionally eat out after.

11:30-1pm - Walk
1pm - Lunch

Lunch ideas include:
The Food Shoppe (Creole) (opens Sat 11:30 AM)
Broad Street area (Stir House, Rosa’s Pizza, Taqueria on Broad) (all open by Sat noon)

This walk will practice learning what levels the skybridges are on.

The reason is, at DragonCon, there are only 30 minutes between most events.
And lines are slow. So this will tour is to help get good seats at presentations.

Shhh... Where is the secret food court?!
I will point it out. (Though it's probably closed on the weekend.)

Meeting at the base of the 3-story tall sculpture in the Hilton.

A reminder - DragonCon is BIG. It has about 30 parallel tracks at the same time.
Which means 30 presentations at the same time. For over 4 days straight.
Thu Sep 3 - Sun Sep 6. (plus a little on Mon Sep 7).

Here is the free parade Saturday morning (Sep 5)
(Has had 3000 marchers - 60,000 attendees!)
https://www.dragoncon.org/things-to-do/parade/

Typically holding a RED FOLDER or Meetup sign.

This is a friendly community event. :)

MAP - Great because it emphasizes shape of Hotels so you can remember them better, and skybridges:
