A Farewell Procession for Jarno / Flying Finn (Response Needed)

Good day Meetup Family!
It is with a very heavy heart and great sadness I must share some unfortunate news about Meetup/AMR's Founder Jarno Syrenius aka 'Flying Finn'. He has left his place here on earth to watch over us from up above. It has come as a shock to us all and we ask that you respect the family's privacy while keeping them in your prayers. Jarno/Finn made a huge impact on many of us whether it was teaching us something, taking us on a new adventure or just making us laugh with his antics. There will be funeral arrangement and memorial ride info to follow. Fly high Finn you will be greatly missed!!!

There will be a procession following the private memorial service. "This is his wife's request". If you're interested in joining the procession, the location information is detailed below for the procession in route to the burial site.

Again, this is for the procession on the way to the burial site. There WILL NOT be a gathering after the burial service. There will be an official tribute/memorial ride in his memory to a destination sometime in the spring/warmer months.

INFO FOR RIDE/ESCORT TO BURIAL FOR JARNO/FINN:

The meet up time & location will be Dec. 18th, 2:45pm at Peavine South Parking Lot, 29 Eagle Row, Atlanta, GA. PLEASE NOTE: There are NO bathrooms as this is just a lot for the meet-up to ride to the burial site. Please use the bathroom beforehand. This lot is on the Emory campus so there may be bathrooms in surrounding buildings, but there is also Starbucks, Zoe's Kitchen, JimmyJohns etc. nearby if needed. There will be a brief pre ride meeting then, riders will line up along the wall facing the exit of the lot, KSU at 3pm where riders will follow behind the hearse and cars follow behind the bikes. The burial is at 1150 Birmingham Rd, Milton, GA 30004. The ride will take approximately an hour. The service prior to the ride is a closed/private service for the family so please respect their privacy, thank you.
