Harvard Glee Club at Emory’s Glenn Memorial Church
Details
Harvard Glee Club performs a FREE concert at Emory's Glenn Memorial Church with an inspiring evening of choral music in collaboration with the award-winning Atlanta Music Project Senior Youth Choir, led by Keeyen Martin.
This dynamic program spans centuries and styles, with selections ranging from early American and Renaissance works by William Billings and Samuel Webbe, to masterworks by Brahms, Madetoja, and Carl Orff. Audiences will also experience powerful 20th- and 21st-century voices including Florence Reece, Stephen Sondheim, Trevor Weston, and Brandon Williams, alongside spirituals and newly arranged works written especially for the Harvard Glee Club. An ensemble of tenor and bass voices, the Harvard Glee Club is the oldest collegiate choir in the United States.
The Atlanta Music Project Senior Youth Choir—internationally recognized and recently crowned Youth Choir Category Winner at the 2024 World Choir Games—brings vibrant artistry and cultural depth to this collaborative performance.
