A society consists of like-minded people governed by their own norms and values within a dominant, larger environment- Welcome to the Atlanta Rock & Metal Society!
This meetup group is a judgement free zone, designed for all metro Atlanta fans of rock and metal music to come together and enjoy all things rock! What’s not to love about going to see great live shows with some good friends, right? We plan events that take us to a variety of the greatest live venues that Atlanta has to offer, as well as other gatherings that will allow us to chill and socialize as a group.
In the spirit of building a true Society we have a few basic rules:
• We require that all members attend at least one event in each calendar year, this is a MeetUp group after all!
• In the event that you amass 3 no-shows, we will give you the boot! It's inconsiderate and downright rude to stand up you fellow Society Members!
• We also require each user include a photo in their profile so that we may be able to identify you when you come to events.

Their breakthrough album The Poison (2005) made them one of the biggest bands of the 2000s metalcore movement. Fun fact: They were originally a Nirvana and Metallica cover band before finding their signature sound!
August Burns Red – Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, August Burns Red is a metalcore band known for their intricate guitar work, technical drumming, and uplifting lyrical themes 🎸🔥. Their sound blends crushing breakdowns with progressive elements, setting them apart in the genre. Albums like Messengers and Constellations helped define modern metalcore. Fun fact: Despite their aggressive sound, the band often includes Christmas-themed instrumentals in their discography, even releasing a full holiday album! 🎄🤘
Bleed From Within – Coming from Glasgow, Scotland, Bleed From Within delivers a powerful mix of groove-laden metalcore and melodic death metal influences ⚡🥁. Their sound features crushing riffs, anthemic choruses, and an intense live presence. Albums like Era and Shrine have pushed them into the international spotlight.

After the absolute blast that was Welcome to Rockville 2024, we're already fired up to start planning for 2025! Early Bird Passes Are On Sale Now! 🤘 Join us in Daytona for an unforgettable weekend of pure rock madness, featuring what’s sure to be an epic lineup (which typically drops in November). With about 150 bands tearing up the stages in 2024, they’re promising to turn it up even louder for 2025! 🎶🔥
Your hosts are grabbing VIP all-weekend passes and camping out in the Orange Lot—where the party never stops! 🏕️ If camping isn't your jam, no worries—there are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs, but heads up, they book up fast due to the event's popularity. 🛏️
Beyond the five stages of killer bands, the festival grounds are packed with food vendors, amusement rides (yes, including a massive Ferris wheel 🎡), and all kinds of awesome art, clothing, and other vendors. 🎨🛍️
