Join us on the 4th Sundays of every month at 11:00am EST, for a different river excursion around Atlanta and North Georgia (May - Sept)

Please note: Riverdose events are only for contributing members of our community (who donate monthly) or for those who have come in for a private sacrament ceremony with our ministers in the past 12 months.

The second ever Riverdose will be on Sun, June 22 from 11am-4pm, beginner level difficulty, near Cartersville GA.

DURATION:
6 Mile River Excursion, with entry at Hardin Bridge and exit at Neels Landing. We will be on the water about 3 hours, leaving plenty of room in the beginning and end to talk and get to know each other.

DIFFICULTY:
Good for all levels of paddlers. This section of the Etowah River contains several smaller shoal ledges and a dozen Class I rapids. Inflatable kayaks provide the most stability on this trip.

Rent Single Kayak: $45 (pay upon arrival) includes shuttle, life jackets, paddles and helmets as needed

Bring Your Own Kayak: The company will shuttle your boat back to the start point for $12 (call ahead for reservations)

BRING:

  • Clothes you're okay getting wet in, and a change of clothes.
  • Water shoes or sandals that are fully strapped to your feet (no flip flops)
  • Sunscreen, shades, hat
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks and/or a whole bag lunch
  • Towel

KIDS:
Children 10 and up can join us and paddle their own boat, children 5 and up can ride in a boat with you. No kids under age 5.

PETS:
No pets on this excursion

Free in the lot

DISCUSSION:
Before our kayaking excursion, we'll circle up for introductions and during our float we'll hear about your past psychedelic experiences and what you're working on spiritually and emotionally at this stage of growth.

FORMAT:
11:00am - Arrive, park, pay for your kayak and sign waivers
11:15am - Circle up for introductions and orientation with the staff
11:30am - Intention setting, subtle sacrament offered
11:45am - Shuttle!
12:00pm - Get in the water!
3:00pm - Get out of the water, Picnic together, late lunch and hangout time
4:00pm - Closing circle and departure

The focus of this gathering is communion with sacrament at a level that everyone will be present and feel more connected to each other and nature. Expect an elevated mood and sense of well-being.

The vibe will be warm and supportive. We always end up in the deep end of existential topics.
