🌊Riverdose: Ocoee Rafting Excursion (near Chattanooga, TN)

Join us on the 4th Sundays of every month for a different river excursion around Atlanta and North Georgia (May - Sept)

Please note: Riverdose events are only for contributing members of our community (who donate monthly) or for those who have come in for a private sacrament ceremony with our ministers in the past 12 months.

The final Riverdose of the warm season will be on Sun, Sept 28 from 10:30am-4:30pm, for all adventurous members who are strong swimmers near Chattanooga, GA.

DURATION / DIFFICULTY:
After a safety demonstration, set off on a white water rafting excursion through the scenic Cherokee National Forest. Experience class III and IV rapids as you descend the river gorge. You will be in the hands of a very experienced guide. Between preparation time, 3 hours on the water, and a group picnic after... we will likely be together for 6 hours.

RENTALS:
$50 for the raft and equipment (per person)

The rafts hold 6 people plus 1 guide. $50 per person should cover it, with tax and cc fees. I'll need each member coming on Sunday to send $50 via CashApp (non-refundable) to Entheo Temple and then I'll set up reservations for the group.

BRING:

• Clothes you're okay getting wet in, and a change of clothes.
• Water shoes or sandals that are fully strapped to your feet (no flip flops)
• T-shirt that covers your shoulders (no tank tops)

• Towel

DISCUSSION:
Before our river rafting excursion, we'll circle up for introductions and during our float we'll hear about your past psychedelic experiences and what you're working on spiritually and emotionally at this stage of growth.

FORMAT:
10:00am - Arrive, park
10:15am - Sign waivers
10:30am - Circle up for introductions and orientation with the staff
11:00am - Intention setting, subtle sacrament offered
11:15am - Shuttle!
11:30pm - Get in the water!
2:00pm - Get out of the water!
2:15pm - Shuttle!
3:00pm - Picnic together, late lunch and hangout time
4:30pm - Closing circle and departure

The focus of this gathering is communion with sacrament at a level that everyone will be present and feel more connected to each other and nature. Expect an elevated mood and sense of well-being.

The vibe will be warm and supportive. We always end up in the deep end of existential topics.
