Preserving the Past, Protecting the Future: Digitizing Your Family Photos
·OnlineOnlineOur family photos are more than just images — they're irreplaceable windows into who we are and where we came from. Yet every day, old prints fade, albums deteriorate, and precious memories are lost forever.
Join us for a conversation about the art and importance of digitizing family photos — from choosing the right scanning tools and organizing decades of memories, to storing them safely in the cloud and sharing them with loved ones near and far. We'll explore how transforming physical prints into digital archives ensures that the faces, places, and stories that define your family history will survive for generations to come.
Whether you have a shoebox full of faded snapshots or dozens of albums waiting to be rediscovered, this is your chance to learn, share tips, and be inspired to take action before time takes its toll.FOREVER® is a privacy-focused platform dedicated to helping individuals and families preserve, protect, and enjoy their photos and videos for generations to come. Sara Keith is the Director and Owner of the Atlanta School of Photography, established in 2017. Sara has always held the belief that everyone is a photographer, they just don’t know it yet. Her sole motivation is to get more cameras in more hands across Atlanta, allowing everyone to create amazing, beautiful images they can be proud of. Her joy of teaching comes from her grandfather, who gave Sara her first camera when she was just a kid.
Sara graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011 with a BFA in Photography and a Minor in Film and Television. She has been working as a professional photographer since 2012 and has worked for clients such as the Woodruff Arts Center, Delta Airlines, and Ponce City Market.
Sara was born and raised in Milwaukee. Like most Wisconsinites, she is an avid Packers fan and misses cheese curds. However, she has found her new home in the South; where many foods are still fried, there's a longer camping season in the Appalachians, and the people are every bit as wonderful. She is proud to now call Atlanta her home.
Sara is also proudly neurodivergent, and has Elhers-Danlos Syndrome, and is proud to bring awareness to fellow photographers, business owners and aspiring business owners.15 attendees
