## 📋 Event Format

### 6:15 – 6:30 PM | Check-In & Welcome 👋🏽

(No worries if you arrive a little later — we’ll get you settled in!)

• ✅ Participants will check in at the Atlanta Spanish Immersion (ASI) table and receive a name tag/sticker.
• 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ A member of our team will help seat you at your first conversation table.

### 6:30 – 8:00 PM | Guided Conversation Rounds 🗣️💬

• The event is divided into two to three 30–45 minute conversation rounds.
• Each round includes one half in English 🇺🇸 and one half in Spanish 🇪🇸.
• 👥 Participants will chat, play conversation icebreaker games, and rotate tables to meet and practice with different people.
• ⚡ It’s important to dedicate each round to the designated language so everyone can practice both listening and speaking in English and Spanish.

📚 According to a study by the University of Cambridge, engaging in dynamic, spontaneous conversations in a foreign language significantly improves speaking fluency and listening comprehension. Real-life, unplanned conversations help learners process language faster and build confidence in everyday situations.

### 8:00 – 9:00 PM | Free Social Time 🎶🍻

• Attendees are welcome to freely socialize, continue practicing either language, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
• 👉 An ASI facilitator will always be present to guide the event, help rotate groups, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• 🧾 To support the restaurant staff, we kindly ask attendees to provide their name when placing food orders to help with service efficiency.

## 📋 Formato del Evento

### 6:15 – 6:30 PM | Registro y Bienvenida 👋🏽

(No te preocupes si llegas un poco más tarde — ¡te ayudaremos a acomodarte!)

• ✅ Los participantes harán el registro en la mesa de Atlanta Spanish Immersion (ASI) y recibirán una etiqueta/sticker con su nombre.
• 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Un miembro de nuestro equipo te ayudará a sentarte en tu primera mesa de conversación.

### 6:30 – 8:00 PM | Rondas Guiadas de Conversación 🗣️💬

• El evento se divide en dos o tres rondas de conversación de 30 a 45 minutos.
• Cada ronda incluye una mitad en inglés 🇺🇸 y otra mitad en español 🇪🇸.
• 👥 Los participantes conversarán, jugarán dinámicas rompehielos, y rotarán de mesa para conocer y practicar con diferentes personas.
• ⚡ Es importante dedicar cada ronda al idioma asignado para que todos puedan practicar tanto la comprensión auditiva como la expresión oral en inglés y en español.

📚 Según un estudio de la Universidad de Cambridge, participar en conversaciones dinámicas y espontáneas en un idioma extranjero mejora significativamente la fluidez oral y la comprensión auditiva. Las conversaciones reales y no planificadas ayudan a procesar el idioma más rápido y a ganar confianza para usarlo en situaciones cotidianas.

• Los asistentes pueden socializar libremente, seguir practicando cualquiera de los dos idiomas o simplemente disfrutar del ambiente.
• 👉 Siempre habrá un facilitador de ASI presente para guiar el evento, ayudar con la rotación de grupos y asegurarse de que todo funcione sin problemas.
• 🧾 Para apoyar al personal del restaurante, les pedimos amablemente a los asistentes decir su nombre al hacer pedidos de comida, lo cual ayuda a mejorar la eficiencia del servicio.
