## 🇪🇸🇺🇸 Intercambio de Idiomas Español–Inglés en Lady Bird

El objetivo de este evento es crear un ambiente divertido, relajado y acogedor donde personas que están aprendiendo español puedan practicar el idioma en conversaciones reales, mientras conocen a hispanohablantes y a otras personas de la comunidad de Atlanta.

### 🗣️ ¿Cómo funcionará?

Al llegar, los participantes se sentarán en diferentes mesas para conversar en grupos pequeños. La idea es que todos tengan muchas oportunidades de hablar, escuchar y conocer a personas nuevas.
Durante el evento:

• Alternaremos entre conversaciones en español y en inglés, para que tanto quienes están aprendiendo español como quienes están aprendiendo inglés tengan la oportunidad de practicar.
• Cada 15–20 minutos, les pediremos a los participantes que están aprendiendo español que se levanten y cambien de mesa.
• Al cambiar de mesa, podrán practicar con un grupo nuevo, conocer a diferentes personas y exponerse a distintos acentos y formas de hablar.
• Los hispanohablantes podrán permanecer en sus mesas mientras los estudiantes de español van rotando.
• Todos los niveles son bienvenidos, desde principiantes hasta estudiantes avanzados y hablantes nativos.
• No será una clase formal. El enfoque estará en conversar, practicar el idioma y conectar con otras personas de una manera natural.
• Recomendamos llegar un poco temprano para poder encontrar una mesa e integrarse a un grupo antes de comenzar las rotaciones.

### 🌎 Nuestro objetivo

En Atlanta Spanish Immersion queremos crear más oportunidades para que nuestros alumnos usen el español fuera de sus clases y lo incorporen a su vida cotidiana.
Este intercambio busca reunir a la comunidad de Atlanta para que las personas puedan practicar español e inglés, hacer nuevas amistades y sentirse más cómodas comunicándose en situaciones reales.

¡Ven con ganas de conversar, conocer gente nueva y practicar! No importa tu nivel; lo importante es participar.

🚙 Estacionamiento: Hay estacionamiento gratuito disponible en el lote detrás de Lady Bird y también puede haber estacionamiento gratuito en la calle cerca del lugar. Los espacios pueden llenarse rápidamente, así que recomendamos llegar temprano, compartir auto, usar Uber/Lyft o llegar caminando o en bicicleta por el BeltLine.

The goal of this event is to create a fun, relaxed, and welcoming environment where people learning Spanish can practice the language through real conversations while meeting Spanish speakers and other members of the Atlanta community.

### 🗣️ How Will It Work?

When you arrive, participants will sit at different tables and chat in small groups. The idea is to give everyone plenty of opportunities to speak, listen, practice, and meet new people.
During the event:

• We’ll alternate between conversations in Spanish and English, giving both Spanish and English learners an opportunity to practice.
• Every 15–20 minutes, we’ll ask participants who are learning Spanish to get up and rotate to a different table.
• By rotating tables, you’ll get to practice with a new group of people, meet new faces, and hear different accents and ways of speaking.
• Spanish speakers can remain at their tables while Spanish learners rotate between groups.
• All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced learners and native speakers.
• This is not a formal class. The focus is on conversation, practicing the language, and connecting with others in a natural setting.
• We recommend arriving a little early so you can find a table and join a group before the rotations begin.

### 🌎 Our Goal

At Atlanta Spanish Immersion, we want to create more opportunities for our students to use Spanish outside of the classroom and make it a part of their everyday lives.
This language exchange is designed to bring the Atlanta community together so people can practice Spanish and English, make new connections, and become more confident communicating in real-life situations.
Come ready to talk, meet new people, and practice! Your level doesn’t matter—the most important thing is participating and having fun.

🚗 Parking: Free parking is available in the lot behind Ladybird and there may be additional street parking nearby. Parking can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early, carpooling, using rideshare, or walking/biking via the BeltLine when possible. Paid parking lots and garages are also available nearby.
