ARRIVE EARLY! There are many beautiful vantage points all along Lake Clara Meer, so be sure to arrive early and get a good spot. Sunrise is at 7:15 and I recommend at least 30 minutes prior (6:45am) to get set up and ready to shoot.
ALL ARE WELCOME! All ages, levels of experience and cameras are welcome. If you plan to shoot long exposures, a tripod is recommended. I like to pack light myself, so bring only what you can carry and wear comfortable walking shoes.
PARKING & MARTA: Street parking is first come/serve in the area. There is a parking deck but it's quite a walk to get to Lake Clara Meer from the deck, so plan to arrive early enough to park and walk. As per always, Carpools, Lyft/Uber, biking, walking and public transit are all encouraged. Midtown is the nearest MARTA station and it's approx. 1 mile (a 20 minute walk) to Lake Clara Meer.
