What we're about

Public Group

CLICK ON THE SPONSOR'S PICTURES TO VISIT THEIR WEBSITES. Welcome to AAP. A low-maintenance, no-nonsense network of Atlanta Area Paddlers who share one thing, we all love the water. We welcome anyone who loves to paddle. Canoes, kayaks, long or short boats, fat or skinny boats, ocean or white water boats, heck if it floats, let's paddle, oceans, lakes or rivers. We have a lot of flexibility and many of our trips are "short notice". You will also find "kid friendly" outtings from time to time. We have no regular "meeting" schedule, just an affiliation with other area paddlers and organizations. The group's about the members, and we (the organizers) are always open for recommendations. We'll collectively tweak the program to suit the paddlers, so please feel free to make suggestions. We'll post trips, but the site will also provide a good means of hooking up with other paddlers whenever you want or need a playmate. Also, please feel free to request that an event be posted. Only one rule, if you calendar a trip, please show up (don't leave us hanging). And be sure to include as much detail as possible about the outing. Paddle safe, but Paddle something. John Miller and the rest of the AAP organizers.
