What we're about

Southeast Gamers - Formerly known as Metro Atlanta LAN Gaming Group, SEG is an organization run by three dedicated individuals with one goal: to bring a top-tier LAN Party experience to Atlanta, and the southeast United States. We have over two decades of combined experience planning and running LAN Parties. We hold LAN parties on a bi-monthly basis in the metro Atlanta area. We are NOT a LAN Center, game store, or computer retailer. This is a community effort built by a group of dedicated volunteers. For the most up-to-date info on SEG events and all other communication, please join our Discord server.

We don't limit ourselves to one game or even a genre of games. If it runs on a PC (or Mac, or even consoles!), we play it. A very incomplete list:

  • Call of Duty series (including Warzone)
  • Battlefield series (Battlefield 4, Hardline, Star Wars Battlefront)
  • Counter-Strike (Source, 1.6, CS:GO)
  • Quake 3 (Live, Arena, etc)
  • Supreme Commander (1 & 2 and Forged Alliance)
  • Starcraft (I & II)
  • Team Fortress 2
  • Overwatch
  • Unreal Tournament (99, II, 2K4, III, Black, 2015)
  • Warcraft series (II, III, DoTA, World of Warcraft)
  • Rainbow Six series (Vegas, Siege)
  • Rocket League
  • DOTA2
  • League of Legends
  • And many others...

We want anyone and everyone who is interested in attending a LAN Party in the greater Atlanta area and beyond to join us. Whether it's a smaller LAN run at a member's house or a larger event held at a dedicated event space, we guarantee a good time will be had by all!

1st LAN of the year (Feb, 2023)!!

It’s time to get back to gaming together!

LAN # 1 for 2023!

Once again we'll be hosting the event at the Improving Atlanta office space in Alpharetta, GA. For full transparency, it should be known that I (Chris Carter) work for Improving, which helped facilitate this partnership.

The space is very clean, accessible, and well-appointed. It’s a big change from the space we hosted events out of previously, Geekspace Gwinnett.

Now for the good stuff! This event will have a cap of 24 attendees, so if you are thinking about attending, I’d advise getting your RSVP as soon as possible.

We will provide a list of F2P games that will likely be played at the event. If we get enough interest, we can possibly run some structured games during the event.

As is customary at our events, drinks and snacks will be provided and as a bonus, Improving will be providing a meal during the event (think pizza) for all attendees. SEG will be charging a small fee ($15, paid in advance, link provided soon) to cover the costs of snacks/drinks and upkeep of equipment. We will provide network and power, as well as a table and chair for each attendee. You are only required to bring your PC/console/Monitor and any cables and accessories you need to have a good time (excluding power strips and network cables/equipment).

We have a new policy in effect starting with this event. No children under the age of 8 are permitted at the event. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must remain with said parent/guardian during the event. Lastly, all children attending that do not have a paid seat will require a $5 food/beverage fee in order to partake in the free food/beverages available to paid attendees. This includes the pizza provided by Improving at dinner time.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

We look forward to seeing you all in person again soon!

Peace, Love, & Rockets
