Our speaker is Janet Mathes from Iron Root Pastures. Iron Root Pastures is a first generation regenerative farm. The Mathes family is very passionate about eating healthy food, minimizing toxins and making a small difference in restoring our earth. They offer organic, soy-free, corn-free, pesticide-free foods including raw grass-fed cow’s milk (for pets), pastured eggs, pasture-raised chicken and turkey, and pasture/forest-raised pork. Pickup locations include Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Cumming, Buford, and Roswell.
In this presentation, we will break down common labels found on poultry and meat products, including organic, free-range, cage-free, natural, grass-fed, and 100% grass-finished—what they truly mean and how they impact the quality of food. We will also explore the benefits of regenerative farming, focusing on how it restores soil health, enhances biodiversity, and improves nutrient density in food.
Additionally, we will discuss the benefits of raw milk, what it means for milk to be truly raw, and the differences between A1 and A2 milk proteins. Attendees will learn how raw milk can support gut health, digestion, and overall well-being, and why A2 milk may be a better choice for those with dairy sensitivities. This presentation will provide valuable insights for consumers looking to make informed choices about their food and health.
