Schedule: 6:30-7:00 Food / Networking 7:15 til ~9:00: Presentations Topic: Ruby to Roll up the Window Blinds: an iOT project with Raspberry Pi + Sinatra with Charles Brian Quinn Details: Charles talks about his software and hardware he built using a Raspberry Pi and of course, some Ruby, to automate the window blinds in his house to go up and down, automatically based on sunrise and sunset every day (for the past 5 years)! He'll talk about the project, what he learned, show off the hardware, the Ruby code, and perhaps dive into some more modern Robotics libraries with Ruby. Interested in Speaking?
