Audition For Your Career, Not The Job: Mastering The On-Camera Audition
Tim Phillips is a master on-camera audition teacher and coach with 40 yrs experience working between NYC and LA.
Trained in the Sanford Meisner approach for stage, Tim expanded on that foundation in order to meet the specific requirements for auditioning for film and television. He created a process he calls Sherlock Holmesing The Text, a technique designed to allow every actor immediate access to universal, inherently human, and unavoidable acting in a short amount of time while also honoring the integrity of the text and what the camera needs to see.
Tim has accomplished more than 50,000 coaching sessions and ignited the careers of incredible actors, including Emmy award winner Richard Schiff, Golden Globe nominee Wendy Malick, Robert Wisdom, Bruce Nozick. Former student Nicholas Braun was just nominated for an Emmy.
70% of his students book their next audition.
