Science for Georgia is proud to be a part of the Georgia Coalition for Environmental Policy and Protection (GCEPP).
Your legislators need to hear from you! Your voice is critical in advancing the needs of our community. Remember, your legislator works for you.
Please join GCEPP for Environmental Justice Day on Jan 29th from 8am to 2pm. This day will include training on issues and opportunities to meet with your legislator. We will begin at Central Presbyterian Church (201 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303) with coffee and training, and then walk to the State Capitol together.

8:00 – Check-In – continental breakfast (pastries, coffee, juices)
8:35 – Welcome; training on engaging lawmakers, review of legislation
9:10 – Group picture in front of the Capitol
9:20 – 11:50 Meet with your legislator, planned meetings (or meeting at the ropes)
12:00 – 2:00 Box lunch at church – report back on meetings with legislators, share experience, next steps
