ChantFlow: Sonic Bliss with Vedaji
Details
Heart Opening Chakra Meditation: Sanskrit chanting is a beautiful treasure that is available for all. Through the ancient sound, we heal.
## About this event
When chanting, we seek for our hearts to open in compassion for the pain in our hearts and in the hearts of all sentient beings. "In the divine power of the wisdom of compassion, may the wonder of mercy and forgiveness make my heart free from all guilt, from deepest insight into the causes of suffering in this world.".
Sanskrit chanting is a beautiful treasure that is available for all. Through the sounds, there is the opportunity to understand that state of freedom that is there always, but which we forget. So bring your voices and spend an enchanted hour filling your hearts with sacred chants. Classic Indian instruments, such as the harmonium and drum accompany the chant, while simple Sanskrit mantras are repeated in a call-and-response building in energy and tempo. This is the practice of Bhakti yoga.
The essence of Bhakti Yoga is to reconnect with our fundamental essence of existence - to love and to be loved. Bhakti Yoga is about self-development - being the change we want to see in the world, cultivating compassion, making this world a better place, finding peace of mind and deeper purpose in life. Kirtan, chanting Music is the language of the heart. Through music, we connect with the essence of our being.
Mindful Seva is a community of spiritual beings on a mission to end the global mental health crisis. Our position is to serve this world and our true spiritual selves ✨ ⭐

## FAQs
Are pets allowed?
We respect all living beings. Unfortunately, we are unable to respect their needs during the session. Our ashram is over 120 years old and easily succumbs to wear and tear from animals. We suggest that you prepare alternative arrangements for the evening. We are certain that the evening will only increase the love that you experience for your wonderful friend.
Do I need a background in meditation to join this event?
Definitely no! You are invited to be a first-time participant and are given the space to ask questions about the practice. You do not need any background in meditation. Want to know what an evening with us looks like?
What do I bring to the event?
Please be dressed comfortably as we will be sitting in a lounge environment with air conditioning or open windows. You are welcome to bring an instrument but that is completely optional (we will be using several indigenous instruments already and have talented musician meditators leading us).
Can I bring my children (under 10 years old)?
All are welcome to join us in our session. For children under 10 who want to sit in our sessions, we suggest you purchase a half-price ticket AT the venue. For children over 10, you can purchase a full price ticket on meetup. For children who will not be participating in the evening, we have a playground next to the session space where they can be engaged.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds are only handed out in the event of an event cancellation by organizers or a natural disaster - we would communicate over meetups to facilitate that transaction. Otherwise, we transfer credit from your current payment to the next event you would be available to attend. We really want to be with you, so we are still hoping you would drop by sometime!
It is expensive to participate every week. Do you have discounted passes?
Yes, thanks for asking! We offer a monthly pass and a 6 month pass to our patrons and meditation aficionados. They make it much cheaper to attend events more regularly. Please approach an organizer or guest reception at the event to know more about pricing and extra bonuses available with such passes.
Anything else I should know?
All collections from our event go to support our food charity in Atlanta - Food4Lives
