Empower the Community: Volunteer to Feed the Homeless Vegetarian/Vegan Meals

NOTE: We have been continuously doing this service for over 5 years now and have the event up on various platforms. If you don't see many people signed up for this event don't worry. As the service will be happening with a loving group of volunteers :) We hope you will join us too!

WELCOME to the Food4Lives Community where we live to serve! We look forward in serving with you all.

OVERVIEW - Food 4 Lives is committed to serving the homeless community 7 days a week. Each day is something different. Sign up for any activities below!

KITCHEN SERVICE - From 1-3pm daily there is service to be engaged in. It can be helping to pack food into 75-100 boxes or organizing clothes for the Wednesday Clothes Distribution. Helping to clean up is never out of the question too :) Note, although there is some overlap between Kitchen Service and Food Distribution, you can still sign up for both.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION - From 2:30-4pm you will be joining Ramana, one of our full-time volunteers, in the pleasure of serving food to people in different downtown locations. You can meet at the Kitchen then head out from there. Ramana's number is (423) 645-4137.

SATURDAY SERVICE DAY - We are bringing back our Saturday Service Days! From 9:30-11:30am we will all gather to cook fresh food and pack them into serving containers. From 11:30-1:00 one group will go out and setup tables in different locations to serve the warm meals, while another group stays back and helps clean. From 1-2pm we will all enjoy a nice volunteer lunch. Bring your friends and family! You can come join us for the whole time or just partly.
