Alpharetta Beach "JULY 4TH VB and Pool Party" *Coed A/BB 4s*

"A/BB" PLAYERS ONLY on the courts, PLEASE!
(NOTE: Players from my B+ and lower events, please check with me first before signing up for this higher-level event. Because of the potential size of this event and limited court space, I won't be able to allow first-time participants unless I receive a recommendation from one of my regulars. I hope you understand. I offer events for different levels on different holidays. Jim 404-433-4531)

1. There is no guest limit on this event (we had 135 one year). Bring your family, hit the pool, play some volleyball, BBQ Grill and Flat Top Grill will both be available.
2. We have front row seats to the Alpharetta Fireworks Show, which is launched directly across the street at Wills Park.
3. Police will close Old Milton Pkwy when Wills Park parking lots are full, If the roads are blocked, you'll need to find parking elsewhere and walk with your things, so consider how you can haul your items.
4. Bring food, drink, grill-ables, extra chairs, etc.
5. We'll be monitoring the weather for potential storms that could cancel the event.
6. We'll wrap up the event after the fireworks show has completed.
7. No fireworks on the property this year. You can shoot them off in the street, where I don't have to pick up debris for days after.
8. Park straight to avoid taking up extra parking spaces.
9. Do NOT get in the pool with sand all over you, as it's a lot of work to vacuum sand from the bottom of the pool.

BRING EVERYTHING YOU NEED WITH YOU. This is an "OUTDOOR ONLY" event, and to avoid bringing sand into the house (wood floors), Nitcha and I will not be going inside to get ice, ketchup, forks, cups, or anything else for you.

A/BB REQUIRED SKILL LEVEL

• This event is for SOLID A/BB players only!
• For safety and the joy of consistent play, players with lower skills
  WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY. If your profile shows that you are B+ or lower, you will be removed from the guest list.

EVENT INFO

• Adults 18+
• ONLY registered guests should come to play. Registered guests can bring spectators with them.
• No-shows and Late-bailouts hurt the group and can get you banned.
• If unable to arrive at the scheduled start time, PLEASE ADD A NOTE BELOW stating when you do expect to arrive. This allows everyone to know when enough players will be here to start the first game.
• JIM (me) may not always play! Please make sure there are at least 7 signed up (7 less Jim = 6) to allow triples play at a minimum.

FACILITY RULES

• No attitudes. Play hard, but play nice, or be fed to the fire pit.
• NO GLASS OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAR EVER!!! - This is a barefoot facility.
• No Kids Under 10 within the barrier net if EITHER court has a game in progress. NO TOYS SMALLER THAN A VOLLEYBALL ON THE COURTS. NO DIGGING IN THE SAND (to protect the liner under the sand.
• NO ALCOHOL is permitted per the City of Alpharetta.

On The Court

• Call your faults!
• No carries (that includes finger pad dinks or "indoor dinks")
• No nets.
• No double contacts (a player contacts the ball twice in succession or the ball contacts except in a single attempt on the first ball over).
• Servers should adjust so opposing players can see you and the ball clearly.
