AS Movie Club watches Barbie

🎬 Welcome to Atlantic Station Movie Club, where we gather on Tuesday nights at Regal Atlantic Station to watch a movie and then chat about it over food and drinks. It's like a book club, but without the pressure of having to read a book ahead of time. We strive for a casual inclusive environment for both cinephile and casual movie goer alike.

🗓️ Schedule for Tuesday, July 25th - Runtime 114 min:

• Meetup: ~5:40 PM
• Movie: 6:10 PM
• Post-Dinner Social: 8:30 PM

📍 We will gather 30 minutes before the movie below the Regal Atlantic Station marquee by the entrance to the ticket machines. One of the organizers will have a printed sign so the group should be easy to find.

🥂 Join us for a post-movie gathering to discuss the film over drinks and food. We'll walk a couple doors down to Yarhouse. It is a great opportunity to talk about the movie and meet some new people in a low key social atmosphere. Even if you are not interested in the food come order a soda and chat.

🎟️ We'll purchase tickets as a group shortly before the movie starts. Tickets on tuesday are $7 for Regal Value day if you have signed up for a free regal account. If you don't have an account you can use someone else's at the event. Sometimes if the Tuesday is a holiday or if it is a new Disney movie there is no value day and regular ticket prices can be $18. We generally try to remind people if it is not a value day ticket.

💲If you enjoy the group and plan on coming regularly you may want to sign up for Regal Unlimited. It costs $21 a month which is about the price of a single full price movie ticket. It requires 3 months of sign up when initially activated but it can be canceled anytime after that.

🏃‍♀️ If you're running late don't stress. Send a message to the meetup chat or the discord so we know you are coming. We will post in the chat our seating location but if you end up sitting somewhere else that is alright too. After the movie we generally wait for a couple minutes outside the screen for anybody before we walk over to Yardhouse.

🅿️ Atlantic Station offers free parking for 2 hours + 2 additional hours can be validated. ❗Don't forget to bring your parking ticket to the theater, as it can be validated for an additional 2 hours. Parking by numbers 2, 3 or 7 are the closest to the theater. If you prefer not to park at Atlantic Station, there's convenient free street parking available within a short walking distance along 16th Street and its side streets.

🚈 It is easy to get to Atlantic Station from the Marta by getting off at the Arts Center Station and taking the Atlantic Station Shuttle. It runs every 15 minutes until midnight.
