The Camino Portuguese Coastal Way is one of the many beautiful routes that lead to the infamous cathedral at Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain.

The route varies from coastal causeways, through woodland paths and cobbled streets. A very historical route as many of the towns are blessed with beautiful churches and monuments and we pass over many ancient bridges.

DATE 6 TO 20TH SEPTEMBER 2022
The tour is for 14 nights and we will be covering approx. 258 kms from Porto in Portugal to Santiago in Spain. We mainly walk 20 - 25 kms approx. daily and even one 30 kms leading to Baiona, so fitness is vital but we do tend to build stamina up gradually and you can always get the Camino taxi. Training and regular long distance walking is essential prior to the tour for your enjoyment.

This is a lovely route and certainly if you have done the Camino Frances and want a completely different walk you will love this tour. We pass through two countries taking the ferry from Caminha in Portugal to Spain; so remember your ‘Obrigada’ and ‘Gracias’. (Thank you)

We arrive in Santiago with a FREE day to enjoy a day trip to Finisterre; the end of the Camino World, or Noon mass at the Santiago Cathedral*.
