Build your first AI agent with Rovo — hands-on!
Curious about Rovo but not sure where to start? Join us in Lausanne for an evening dedicated to Atlassian's AI platform, where you'll go from "I've heard about Rovo" to "I built my own agent" in just one session.
What to expect
We'll kick things off with a guided walkthrough of the latest and greatest in Rovo and Rovo Studio — including Custom Studio Models (CSM), MCP support, and what's new in the agent-building experience. From there, we'll dive into the craft of building agents: effective prompting, working with actions, and orchestrating subagents (formerly known as scenarios).
Then it's your turn. Laptops out — you'll:
- Build your own Rovo agent from scratch (≈ 30 min)
- Wire it into an automation so it actually does something useful
- Experiment with evals, subagents, and agentic workflows (≈ 20 min)
- Take on a stretch challenge to extend what you've just built
For the more technically inclined, we'll also touch on JSON outputs and how to consume them as structured objects inside automations.
Who is this for?
Atlassian users — admins, developers, power users, team leads — who are already comfortable in Jira or Confluence but new (or fairly new) to Rovo. No prior agent-building experience needed. Bring your laptop and your curiosity.
