In this session we’ll give you an overview of Compass, Atlassian’s new developer experience platform, and show you how you can customize & extend Compass to help improve developer productivity and solve engineering pain. We’ll walk through the different extension points in the product, discuss our API & SDK, and give you the resources you need to get started building your own custom, private Forge apps in Compass.

By building apps for Compass, you can bring more events, metrics, and metadata about your services components into Compass from any source. Use the power of the platform to create self-service actions for developers, apply governance, and share best practices throughout your engineering organization.

We’ll also highlight how Atlassian uses many private Forge apps on our instance of Compass and talk about use-cases on what you could build apps in Compass for. We’ve got real code to walk through and example apps to help get you started!
