This caused immense challenges for DevOps, SREs, and Platform engineers, who were tasked with ensuring the uninterrupted operation of their companies’ SaaS applications. In this session, we delve into strategies to mitigate these cloud-related issues. We will explore the implementation of cloud-agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices that can be seamlessly deployed to alternative cloud providers in case of a disruption. Additionally, we will discuss the importance of utilizing status pages and tools like Opsgenie to keep our technical teams and customers informed and updated at all times.
