This workshop has a couple of goals:
- Learn how to Learn Vim - Vim’s learning curve is STEEP. This talk should pour rocket fuel on the learning process and arm you with tools to continue learning and become a ninja.
- Show why it’s worth it - Vim is a powerhouse, but typically people have to invest some time learning before realizing any of the benefit. This talk aims to give you a taste of mastery.
Why should I learn Vim?
As a developer, you’re gonna be spending YEARS of your life working with a text editor… So why not learn and use the most powerful one?
If you’re not a developer, it’s still super interesting to learn about.
