What we’re about
Our own mortality is something we each have to reckon with, so why do it alone? This meet up is designed to be a safe space for adults to come together and discuss death.
There is NO agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group and NOT a grief support or counselling session. There are far better resources and groups if you are actively experiencing grief. There is an expectation of confidentiality and respect to all attendees.

Come join us after work for food and training by the experts: Hospice Austin’s GIFT (Giving Instructions for Tomorrow) Project team has only a few more weeks to train Austin on advance directives, which is talking through and documenting what care we’d want and who speaks for us if we can’t.
Let's step up and complete our own advance directives, and educate ourselves on the issues involved so that we can guide and support the people that we love. We’ll cover:- Medical Power of Attorney
- Living Will
- Out of Hospital DNR Order
- Q&A about advance care planning
