Exploring Auckland by bike (bike hire available)

If you are keen to get out and explore Auckland by bike come along on Saturday morning when we will join the free guided bike tours hosted by Bionic bike shop in Remuera. Either bring your own bike or if you don't have a bike you can hire an e-bike from Bionic at a super-special rate of $20 for the ride - amazing value!

The plan is meet up at 9.20am at Bionic Bikes 244 Orakei Road, Remuera. It is a short walk from the Orakei train station and there is lots of parking close by. We will then take a scenic ride along bike paths out to Pt England and then through Churchill and Glover Park and back along the waterfront - total distance 22.7km (likely to take a couple of hours).

Level of fitness - if you are not on an ebike it would be good to have a reasonable level of fitness though there aren't many hills.

Check out their facebook page as they post up details about the ride there. They have guided Saturday bike rides every couple of weeks so if you can't make this one keep an eye out for facebook notifications.
