Meet up of Analytics, Big Data and Digital Professionals from Auckland

Welcome to the very first meetup of Auckland Analytics Freelancers. The aim of this group is to create a networking platform for Big Data, Analytics and Digital Freelancers in Auckland and develop a community of Data and Digital practitioners.

In the first meet up we will also be taking the opportunity to launch the New Zealand chapter of AlphaZetta - A community of freelance analytics experts with over 200+ members across 24 countries (and growing).

By bringing the group of independent professionals together we aim to foster greater collaboration, knowledge sharing, create work opportunities and overall a sense of bonding/friendship among freelancers who often feel a bit isolated from the mainstream corporate network as a result of their decision to become an independent operator.

Our vision is to create a virtual community of independent freelancers that offers all the positives of a traditional organisation (such as teamwork, peer to peer learning and professional network) while maintaining an 'open source' culture that is based on the principles of free thinking, sharing of knowledge and a genuine intent for doing good for the society we live in by leveraging Data, Analytics and Digital in everyday life.
