AAD for non-developers

In this session, we’ll look at AAD (azure active directory): what it is / isn’t, how it differs from on-premises AD, the protocols it supports, groups, SaaS applications, SSO, self-service, ADAL, the Graph API Explorer etc.

Rory has been involved in Microsoft Identity & Access Management since the early days of ADFS 2.0 and WIF 1.0.

While this started off on-premises, the technology has now migrated to the cloud with Azure Active Directory, the Application Proxy and ADAL.

Rory is the Auckland P-TSP for ADFS and Azure Identity, has presented at user groups and TechEd and is the North Shore .NET User Group Co-Administrator
