ADFS is Dead! + Introduction to Kubernetes and Awesome Stuff with AKS

Details

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is now Generally Available and able to be deployed in Australia! Dan Scott Raynsford is pretty excited about it and this month is planning to give us a rundown of what Kubernetes actually is, how it relates to AKS and what sort of awesome stuff you can do with it. Not to be missed if you're interested in learning about container operations and orchestration!

Also this month, you may have heard that Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) is not worth the effort to run anymore given new options available like Pass-through Authentication and Seamless Single Sign-on... Well our resident identity expert Rory Braybrook will give us the lowdown and let us decide if news of its demise has been greatly exaggerated or not.

Agenda:
5:00pm - 5:30pm Arrival / Networking over pizza and beverages
5:30pm - 5:45pm Welcome
5:45pm - 6:00pm Rory: ADFS is Dead! (or is it?)
6:00pm - 7:00pm Dan: Introducing Kubernetes with Awesome stuff to run in AKS
7:00pm - Close

Hope to see you there! But if you don't make it in person, catch it live or recorded at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfFGNsSorgU
